This has got to be one of the most frustrating days I've had in a while! I'm waiting to be waiting or so it would seem. We are going camping again. I'm worse than the kids. I'm so ready to go I can't get everything done fast enough to suit me. My husband is frustrated at my approach of the issue. AND here i am on the computer Blogging about it. He says " If I could smash that thing, I would do it a hundred times a day." I still don't think it would relieve his anxiety about computers and the people who run them. Once he gets upset with me, thats all she wrote! The kids get in trouble for just standing there or talking when he's angry!! Sometimes its very comical to see us in action. Two raccoons going around in circles over the latest find of garbage!! The kids just stand back and watch as we do the silliest things trying to outdo the other at getting it done the fastest. I'm not sure if this is a vacation or not. We still got the driving and then setting up camp! Whew! It's making me sweat just thinking about it. I'm sure i'll get alot of sun and fun accomplished but to what expense! I love doing it and seeing the kids once we get there. I guess thats payment enough for my hard work. Mama always said," anything worth doin', is worth doin' right!" i wonder if she ever told daddy that when he was teaching my brother how to pee on trees in the yard. My Daddy always had a simple way of doing things like this, if you didn't get your own things packed and in the car; it was your own fault and you just did without whatever it was you wanted to take. No do-overs! You can bet I learned really quick to make sure I had what I needed before we got down the road!! Make a list and check it twice! Santa Clause ain't got nothin' on me!
